So what next?

At Aurora Assist we believe that no candidate should be left in limbo wondering what is going on with their application. So this is what you can expect from us:

After sending your resume by email (not by WhatsApp, Reddit, in video format, by carrier pigeon...)

You will receive an acknowledgement within 24 hours of receipt - it isn't an automated process.

Thereafter within 5 business days you will hear from us with one of the following:

a) An immediate rejection

b) Further questions for clarification

c) An invitation to interview

After the interview:

We will keep you informed of when the final interviews will be held. We believe recruitment is a fluid process and that it isn't always prudent to put a specific deadline on when an offer will be made. If we really like someone from their resume but they can't interview for another couple weeks then we don't want to be held back by an arbitrary deadline.

We will however make sure you are aware of what is going on.

If you have been immediately unsuccessful at interview we will provide feedback on that interview within 2 business days and regretfully let you know you have not been successful on this occasion. We will ask for your explicit permission to keep your information on file and invite you to further interviews in the future. We will also reach out once per year to make sure that you still want us to retain your information for recruitment purposes.

Depending on the role we are recruiting for and number of candidates, we may proceed with a second round of interviews to figure out who is the best fit. These may be done formally or informally.

We will let you know within 2 business days of either this second round (if it is happening) and if not, then we will proceed to give the successful candidate an informal offer followed by a formal offer within 5 business days of the final interview taking place.

We believe every human being has the right to equal treatment, literally whether you are the CEO or the janitor you deserve equal respect. Unlike other organizations where your resume disappears into the ether, we do things a little different...
